Minister of Dali Temple

 Chapter 12: Drunk

Daming Palace, Chenghuan Hall.

A full moon hangs in the night sky. At the hour of midnight, the tall palace buildings are immersed in the night, and the red walls and golden tiles are also shrouded in a layer of shadow.

Princess Jiading came out of Empress Chen's bedroom, walked silently with her head down, looking very troubled.

It was quiet all around, with only the sound of an old maid holding a lamp beside him.

"Patta--"

a small stone fell right in front of her. She looked up and saw a black shadow flash by.

Wei Shu was subconsciously stunned for a moment, then hurried back to her bedroom and sent everyone away.

Behind the screen with a picture of a hundred birds paying homage to the phoenix, a dark figure slowly walked towards them with a leisurely gait.

"A man should be looked at with new eyes after three days of absence," the voice said, "Princess, you are polite."

Wei Shu saw the face of the person clearly and her expression immediately became stern. The gentleness and grace she showed in front of others were gone, leaving only a sense of hostility between her brows.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to see the princess," the man in black said with a slight smile, "

and by the way, I want to ask a favor of you." Wei Shu did not respond, but just looked at him, her watery eyes full of defensiveness.

The man took out a white porcelain bottle from his arms and placed it on the table, making a clear crisp sound in the dark.

"The princess has already met Prince Su, right?"

Wei Shu's heart trembled, but she did not answer.

The man chuckled, twirled the porcelain bottle in his hand on the table and said, "Princess, aren't you anxious to find a backer for yourself?" He paused, and said frivolously, "Prince Su is a good candidate."

Wei Shu sneered when he heard it, "Su Moyi was raised by the empress dowager, and he works for the emperor. If he doesn't want to, how can I force him?"

The man in black seemed to have expected that she would have such an excuse, so he said slowly, "If he doesn't want to, won't the princess think of a way?"

After that, he shook the porcelain bottle in his hand.

"If it's for the sake of the royal family's reputation, what will the emperor, empress, and even the queen mother do?"

Wei Shu was stunned, and immediately understood.

He wanted to drug Su Moyi himself.

If the two of them were already husband and wife, no matter what the considerations were, Su Moyi would have no choice but to marry her.

"Doesn't the Queen want to win over Prince Su? This plan kills two birds with one stone."

"Oh!" Wei Shu sneered, "Are you so kind? I'm afraid you have other intentions and are using me as bait?"

The man in black paused and said with a smile, "Princess, you are too polite."

Wei Shu didn't believe it and stared at him and said, "A few days ago, a murder case occurred in Secretary Song's mansion and the murderer was killed in prison. Now the case has been taken over by Prince Su."

Her tone paused, and she said with a hint of sarcasm, "This matter is probably related to your master."

The man in black was stunned and stopped talking. The two looked at each other in silence in the dark night. The atmosphere became quiet for a moment, as if it were a deep pool or a blue lake.

In the cold moonlight, the sound of wind whistling could be heard in my ears.

The world was spinning around her and Wei Shu felt a hand grabbing her neck with such force that she was forced to take several steps back.

His waist hit the antique display cabinet behind him, and the antique porcelain on it shattered to the ground.

"Princess?" The maid outside the door heard the noise and asked.

The man in black smiled at her, "Why don't you let her in? I can send you to the death row of the Dali Temple tonight on charges of impersonating a princess and deceiving the emperor."

Wei Shu's heart sank and her face turned pale. Then she said to the outside of the door, "It's okay. I bumped into it accidentally. I'll come and clean it up tomorrow morning." Sure enough,

there was no more noise outside the door.

Wei Shu then touched her neck which was pinched red by him, took a breath and said, "What should I do?"

"It's very simple," the man in black handed her the porcelain bottle in his hand and said, "Find an opportunity to put the medicine in Su Shizi's tea, and then wait at the designated place, someone will pick you up then."

"Su Shizi will only enter the palace when the emperor summons him, and on weekdays only the empress dowager can see him a few times. Do you want me to do it in front of the emperor and the empress dowager?"

The man in black chuckled, and said with certainty in his tone, "Princess, have you forgotten that the royal spring hunt will be in a few days."

"Su Moyi will not go," Wei Shu said, "He has always disliked these social occasions."

A gust of wind made the window of the bedroom creak, and it looked eerie and weird in the quiet moonlight.

The man in black twisted the medicine off his hand and said with a smile: "He will go, as long as we put out some bait that he can't refuse."

*

Lin Wanqing finally understood what it meant to shoot oneself in the foot.

She had calculated that Su Moyi couldn't hold his liquor, but she never imagined that a pot of fruit wine could make him drunk and unconscious.

A person's character can be seen from his drinking habits. I have to say that Su Moyi's character is really good.

He never acted like a spoiled brat after getting drunk.

Because Lord Su's hobby was to force people to listen to him recite "Nan Lu" and "Xi Yuan Lu".

So, he asked each girl to recite from "Famous Examples Law" to "Judgment Law", from autopsy to bone examination.

Finally, the girls couldn't stand it anymore and found excuses to leave. Lord Su then rushed into the hall and explained to the patrons present the injury examination process for the twenty-nine ways of death in "The Washing Away of Wrongs"...

After doing such a fire-fighting thing, they were of course asked to leave the brothel in the end.

However, the madam knew that she couldn't afford to offend the person in front of her, so she just sent him away politely.

It was late at night, the moon was bright in the sky, there were only three or two drunkards on the street, and occasionally the crying of a baby could be heard.

Lin Wanqing was carrying Su Moyi, who was a head taller than her, and she was panting every three steps, walking with great difficulty.

However, the person on her back was completely unaware. He lay limply on top of her, continuing his mumbling from time to time.

The hot and humid breath, mixed with the sweet fragrance of fruit, rubbed her ears in waves. His hot cheek rubbed against her neck, his strong arms firmly held her shoulders and arms, his chest heaved, and he felt a burning sensation.

Lin Wanqing suddenly remembered the big thing he saw in the purification room that night.

My breathing is disordered.

She was distracted and the strength in her hands weakened. The person on her back was about to slide backwards, so she hurriedly used her hands to grab him.

"Snap!"

The hand feels like something with moderate hardness and elasticity.

Lin Wanqing turned her head and saw that one of her hands was resting squarely on Su Moyi's butt.

She subconsciously felt it was hot and wanted to throw it away. The person on her back seemed to wake up a little. He rubbed against her and hugged her neck tighter.

Lin Wanqing breathed a sigh of relief, quietly withdrew her hand, and tried to support his arm that was on her shoulder, but found that an even stranger feeling was running up her back.

She lowered her head in a daze, and saw Su Moyi's big hand placed openly on her chest, imitating the way she touched him just now, and gently touched it twice.

"..." Lin Wanqing was startled and pushed him down.

After all, Su Moyi had practiced martial arts, so even when he was unconscious, he still retained the necessary muscle memory. He staggered two steps and stood up by himself, holding on to a small tree.

If possible, Lin Wanqing really wanted to just leave him here and walk away.

But this dog official is so annoying. If I throw him on the road, will he meet his enemies and be killed with a knife?

After all, she is not a member of the Dali Temple yet, and she has to rely on Su Moyi to stay here and investigate the case.

She sniffed and sighed resignedly.

Because he was dragging a drunkard, Lin Wanqing took two quarters of an hour to reach the destination, which was supposed to be a quarter of an hour.

When she saw the plaque of Dali Temple under the moonlight, she almost cried with excitement.

The person who opened the door was Ye Qing. He knew that Su Moyi and Lin Wanqing went to investigate a case, but seeing that he had not returned for a long time, he did not dare to rest.

Lin Wanqing felt relieved and wanted to throw the person on her back to Ye Qing, but she saw the other party took two steps back, as if she was going to give him some monster.

"The master doesn't like strangers to get close to him and never lets anyone get close to him," he looked at Lin Wanqing with an indescribable loneliness and sadness in his eyes, "Please ask Mr. Lin to help the master go back to his room to rest."

Lin Wanqing: "..."

The bedroom in the Dali Temple was clean and elegant. Ye Qing lit Su Moyi's favorite sandalwood.

The gauze curtain swayed gently, and the fragrance lingered.

Only then did Lin Wanqing realize that although Su Moyi had his own mansion, he almost never lived there. Because he spent most of his time throughout the year in the Dali Temple.

In addition to being his office, this is also his permanent residence.

His bedroom was simple and clean, but it also exuded an indescribable weirdness.

All the furniture items were neatly arranged - the books and ornaments, and even the brushes on the table were arranged in a line from left to right in order of size.

She twitched her lips, thinking that this person might really have obsessive-compulsive disorder...

As her mind was turning, a booklet at hand caught her attention.

It was a book with curled corners and yellowed pages. There were crooked words written on the cover, as if they were written by a child.

She took it casually and looked at it.

"That was something the adult wrote when he was eight years old," Ye Qing came out of the house and said when he saw this.

Lin Wanqing flipped open two pages and replied in disbelief: "Is this "Southern Law Commentary"? "

Ye Qing did not deny it, but said: "The prince has been determined to join the prison since he was eight years old. He always said that the net of heaven is long and nothing can escape it, and the criminal law is not about revenge, but to let those who have made mistakes know that they are wrong."

Lin Wanqing said nothing, lowered his head and stroked a line of small words on the page - willing to join the prison, punish evil and promote good, bring the wicked to justice, and work with doctors to cure stubborn diseases.

Su Jingche.

It turns out that his name is Jingche - my life vision, the world is clear.

Perhaps moved by little Jingche's unrealistic ambition, Lin Wanqing slightly raised the corner of her mouth at Su Moyi's things for the first time.

“Water…” The person on the bed turned over and a low moan escaped from his throat.

Lin Wanqing looked up at Ye Qing, only to see him pointing at the tea on the table, then turning around and closing the door.

"..."Lin Wanqing had no choice but to send the Buddha to heaven.

Su Moyi drank the water she handed him, then lay down again.

The person on the bed was sleeping soundly. The pleasant light passing through the gauze fell on his brows, and his handsomeness was mixed with a beautiful bookish air.

The ups and downs of his forehead, nose, jaw, and even lip line seemed to have been calculated by nature. Any more or less would destroy this perfect harmony.

However, that steady breathing carried with it a solemn and murderous aura that commanded the world and a sense of inviolable majesty.

She seemed to finally understand where Su Moyi's reputation as the most handsome man in Shengjing came from, and she couldn't help but move closer.

The candlelight flickered suddenly, and Lin Wanqing felt her hand tighten. The next moment, she was under Su Moyi...

"No way..." Lin Wanqing stared at the still shaking bed curtains and jade hook with tears in her eyes, "I just thought you were a little better, but you're taking advantage of me..."

She tried her best to push the man on her, but he was like a mountain, motionless.

Su Moyi rolled to the side and pressed his whole body on her.

"Ah!!! Su Moyi!!!" she screamed, "It's too heavy!"

There was no response...

Lin Wanqing pushed desperately, "It hurts me when you do this!"

"Don't move..." The voice was hoarse from drinking. Su Moyi moved his body and hugged her tighter.

"Move away a little!" She was unwilling and kept pushing, but her hands tightened and she was grabbed by him.

"It will be uncomfortable if you go out, and the pain will go away after a while..."

"You are comfortable, but I am not!!"

Lin Wanqing struggled with her last bit of strength, and the whole bed made a rustling sound as if it was about to fall apart.

"Ah! Su Moyi!!!"

Lin Wanqing's scream and the sound of the bed scattered and drifted into Ye Qing's ears outside the door.

Under the bright moon and cool breeze, he sighed wistfully.

"Alas... a man should not be kept at home when he grows up..."

Chapter 1 "On March 3, I will light a fire on Mao Yi Jian and draw out the smoke."  Lin Nianyin was awakened by a burst of chirping children's voices, and it was a bit cloudy and foggy for a while. She thought about her daughter again last night and didn't know when she fell asleep. How could she still dream about hearing the hometown dialect she hadn't heard in many years?   Even if she thinks about it daily and dreams about it at night, she should be allowed to dream about her daughter. These local accents would only remind her of the days when she was dragged and sucked by Dong Cuiping's family, unable to escape, and suddenly felt a sense of nausea in her heart that had finally calmed down.        Lin Nianyin didn't want to be haunted by these disgusting things in her dream, so she forced herself to open her eyes.   The object is a pair of hands.   The young hand, not very fair but delicate, seemed to be patting her body, but when she saw her e...

Chapter 9: I’m home  Aluminum lunch box While Aunt Liu was talking, memories s appeared in front of Shi Xiao ai's minds, all of which came from the memory of the original owner. In all those pictures, a large aluminum lunch box is indispensable. This lunch box would always appear on their window sill in the morning when it was still dark, and it would always be filled to the brim every time it was opened. Either a box of hot meat buns or a box of freshly fried dough sticks pressed into a porcelain shape. Another time, the aluminum lunch box was filled with a box full of sugar! At that time, the original owner had been suffering from a fever for several days. The old man was so anxious that he couldn't do anything to help him, so he had to hunt around and get this box of candy. This is the most nutritious thing the old man can find for his granddaughter. Even through her memory, Shi Xiao ai was shocked when she saw it. You know that even in today's era, a person's sugar ...
